French Drain Installation

In this project, we installed a French drain to effectively manage water runoff and prevent flooding issues around the client’s home. We started by carefully planning the trench line to ensure it would effectively guide water away from vulnerable areas. This part was critical and required precision to protect the property's foundation from water damage.

After marking the trench line, our team dug a channel alongside the property, working diligently despite the rocky terrain, which posed some additional challenges. The proper gradient was meticulously maintained to ensure the water flow would be directed correctly. This labor-intensive work ensured that water wouldn't accumulate next to the house, especially during heavy rainfall.

Once the trench was ready, we installed a perforated pipe at the base, surrounded by gravel. This setup is crucial for capturing and channeling groundwater efficiently. We then topped it with a layer of soil to seamlessly blend into the surroundings, making it virtually invisible yet functional. Our team ensured the final layout was clean and that the drain would serve its purpose while enhancing the property’s look.
